Discounts and Policies for PV Owners – The Vines Resort & Spa

 

a) Blackout Dates

During the following periods the private owner discount, Advance Nights and Complimentary Nights may not be used, and your stay could be subject to a minimum length as well as special payment and cancellation policies.

2022

  • Easter: April 14 to 17

  • Brazilian Holiday Tiradentes: April 21 

  • Brazilian Holiday Corpus Christi: June 16 to 19

  • Brazil Independence Day: September 2 to 8

  • Brazilian Holiday Nossa Senhora Aparecida: October 12

  • Brazilian Holiday Proclamação da República: November 15

  • Thanksgiving: November 24 to 27

  • Holiday Season: December 23 to January 3 (minimum of three consecutive nights with check-in and check-out date established as follows:  December 23-26 / December 26-29 / December 29-January 1 or 2)

 

b) Reservation Policies:

  • Owners’ Rate of 50% off the Rack Rate applies up to 1 villa per vineyard title holder and/or their immediate family (only on the same dates).

  • Friends & Family Rates give owners the opportunity to add a 2nd villa during their stay at a 20% discount off the Rack Rate (owner must be present).

  • Groups: For groups of more than 5 villas, please ask us about our group rates and cancellation policies. 

  • Reservation confirmation: A credit card will be required to guarantee your reservation, but final payment will only be collected upon check out.

  • Cancellation policy (general): Reservations may be canceled without penalty as long as the cancellation is made (30) days or more prior to check-in. Any cancellations between 15 and 29 days before the check-in date will incur a penalty of 50% of the estimated total cost of the stay. Cancellations within 14 days prior to arrival, or a no-show, will be charged 100% of the estimated total cost of the stay.  The penalties will be non-refundable and non-usable as credit for future bookings. We recommend travelers insurance to protect you in the case of unforeseen circumstances. This cancellation policy will also apply when using Complimentary or Advance Nights.

  • Securing your villa in the front row (“lake view”) for Complimentary or Advance Nights: One Bedroom Deluxe Villas and Two Bedroom Deluxe Villas are located in the first (front/lake view) and second row. If you wish to guarantee the location of your villa in this front row, an additional fee of U$100 per night for a One Bedroom Deluxe Villa and U$150 per night for a Two Bedroom Deluxe Villa will be charged.

  • Complimentary Breakfast: Breakfast is included in the discounted Owners Rates and Friends and Family Rates, but not when using Complimentary Nights, Villa Owner Nights and/or Advance Nights.

  • VAT Exemption: The cost of accommodation is exempt from VAT for foreign visitors. To be eligible, payments must be made with a foreign credit card or by wire transfer of foreign funds. The exemption does not apply to cash payments, cancellations or no-shows.

 

c) Other owners discounts offered at The Vines Resort & Spa:

  • Siete Fuegos Restaurant & Bar: 20% discount on your check (including wine!), up to a maximum of 8 guests and with the owner present. 

  • Activities, spa & other services at the resort: No discount is currently offered on other services and activities.
