The Essential Darkroom Book

This practical book shows that color processing is as easy as black-and-white processing, and explains how to set up the darkroom for color. Explains how to develop black-and white, as well as, color film, discusses darkroom equipment, and suggests special printing techniques. This aging volume is still the best overview of basic darkroom equipment and methods for the begginner that I've come across. Excellent illustrations and clear writing make this well organized book a winner. The authors describe enlargers and all of the accessories needed to print from black and white and color negatives. They provide a generously illustrated guide for processing film with just the right amount of detail for a begginer. If you want the basics, this is the place to start. Read more
